Description

Developed as part of my Master’s thesis at Johns Hopkins University. The client needed to visualize the challenges associated with the spatio-temporal control of diverse cell culture in engineering cardiac tissue. After determining a 3D animation was the best platform, I used confocal microscopy datasets to visualize the cell types and build 3D models. Contraction data was used to map cardiomyocyte contraction. The animation was hosted on the web and interactivity added to the timeline to increase engagement with viewers.
